The Role
- Position: KS1 Class Teacher (Year 1 or Year 2 based on experience and preference)
- Location: Cambridge
- Start Date: January 2026
- Contract: Permanent Full-Time or Part-Time considered
- TLR: Available for subject or phase leadership (for the right candidate)
As a KS1 Class Teacher you will:
- Deliver high-quality engaging lessons that build strong early literacy numeracy and social skills
- Provide a nurturing inclusive classroom where all pupils feel safe happy and ready to learn
- Support pupils academic and emotional development through differentiated teaching and ongoing assessment
- Work collaboratively with your year group partner and the wider staff team
- Build strong trusting relationships with children families and colleagues
- (Optional) Take on a subject or phase leadership responsibility supporting whole-school development
What Were Looking For
- A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with a passion for KS1 education
- A strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum phonics early assessment and development
- A calm reflective practitioner who puts childrens needs at the heart of their teaching
- Excellent classroom management and a warm inclusive approach
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Applications welcome from both experienced teachers and ECTs with KS1 experience
