History Teacher (ECTs Welcome) – Secondary Academy in the West Midlands

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a History Teacher to join a high-performing secondary academy in Smethwick. This full-time position will begin in January and is open to Early Career Teachers looking for a supportive school to complete their induction years.

This is an ideal role for an Early Career Teacher looking to begin their career in a collaborative and well-resourced Humanities department. History is a strong and popular subject with recent GCSE results showing 76% of pupils achieving grades 5 and above and A-Level History achieving 82% A*C.

Requirements
History Teacher with QTS or pending QTS (suitable for ECTs)
Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring young historians
Enthusiastic well-organised and keen to learn from experienced colleagues
Legal right to work in the UK
