Are you a newly qualified Science Teacher ready to begin your teaching career in a supportive and ambitious school A welcoming secondary school in Basingstoke is seeking a Science ECT to join its thriving department from January 2026. This is a full-time permanent role offering excellent support and induction.
The Role
Full-time Science Teacher (ECT) position starting January 2026
Teach engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4 with opportunities to grow into KS5 teaching as experience develops
Access to a structured induction programme with mentoring CPD and peer support
Opportunities to contribute to STEM clubs enrichment activities and trips

What Were Looking For
A Science ECT (Biology Chemistry or Physics specialism) with PGCE/QTS (or pending qualification)
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring students in Science
Excellent classroom management organisation and communication skills

Enthusiasm for contributing to the wider school community
