Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician you will play a crucial role in providing care and support to individuals with autism and developmental disabilities in their home setting. Responsibilities: - Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with autism and developmental disabilities
- Collect data on client progress and behavior
- Assist with diagnostic evaluations and assessments
- Collaborate with the treatment team to develop individualized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical documentation
- Follow all HIPAA guidelines and regulations
- Ensure the safety and well-being of clients at all times
Skills:
- Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities
- Knowledge of special education principles and practices
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to behavioral health
- Ability to provide patient care in a compassionate and professional manner
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
