Summary
The Audiologist performs and provides routine diagnostic and treatment services to patients of all ages with hearing and balance disorders including a significant number of military personnel. Pediatric diagnosis and management are an essential part of the responsibilities. Strong skills and experience with amplification and pediatric care are highly beneficial to the clinic.
Location
- On-Site Clinic: At our convenient Eastampton location we provide patient care featuring a state-of-the-art audio booth ensuring comprehensive audiological evaluations
- School Visits: Travel to various schools to treat students.
Tasks
Responsibilities
- Provides diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology services including hearing aid fittings and auditory training.
- Assesses and defines patient hearing impairment and balance disorder.
- Selects and administers audiometric and balance tests.
- Determines the type and degree of hearing impairment.
- Interprets audiometric diagnostic data and reports findings to patients and other healthcare professionals.
- Works collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
- Maintains high ethical standards and patient confidentiality.
- Reliable dependable punctual and committed to high-quality patient care.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Au. D. or Ph.D. - Audiology
- Valid Dispensing Audiologist License
- Strong organizational skills for managing patient records and appointments.
- Knowledge of otolaryngology principles as they relate to audiology.
- Experience with diagnostic evaluation techniques for hearing disorders.
- Excellent customer service skills to enhance patient experiences.
- Leadership experience in a clinical setting is a plus.
