Registered Nurse- Intensive Care Unit (Contract Role) Location: Laconia NH 03246
Duration: 13-week Contract
Shift: 12-hr Nights 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Weekly Pay: $2088 - $2232; (Negotiable based on experience)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) on a 13-week contract in Laconia NH. This position requires a dedicated professional who can thrive in a high-acuity setting operate independently and respond quickly in critical care situations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe effective and compassionate care to critically ill patients.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions administer medications and manage life-support equipment.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members.
- Document patient care accurately using the EMR system.
- Provide patient and family education and emotional support.
- Float as needed to ED (including active ED care not just ICU holds) Stepdown or Med-Surg (with modified assignments).
Requirements:
Experience:
- Minimum 2-3 years of ICU experience required.
- If closer to 2 years candidate must be a strong self-starter with diverse critical care exposure and ability to work independently.
- CVICU experience.
Licensure:
- Active New Hampshire (NH) RN license or Compact RN license must be verified.
Certifications:
- Required:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- Preferred:
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse)
EMR:
- Cerner experience preferred (not required)
