Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced OpenStack 17 & 18 Architect to join our client on a fully remote basis. This is a 12-month contract with the possibility of extension. In this role you will play a key part in designing implementing and optimizing OpenStack-based cloud infrastructure ensuring high availability security and scalability.
Tasks
- Architect and deploy OpenStack 17 & 18 environments ensuring best practices in cloud infrastructure.
- Design and implement robust cloud solutions for compute storage and networking.
- Optimize OpenStack performance scalability and security for enterprise-level workloads.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive automation and integration with existing IT ecosystems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex OpenStack-related issues.
- Provide technical guidance documentation and best practices for OpenStack deployments.
- Work on upgrades migrations and optimizations for OpenStack environments.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an OpenStack Architect or Engineer with expertise in OpenStack 17 & 18.
- Strong background in cloud infrastructure virtualization and networking.
- Hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenStack Platform (RHOSP).
- Proficiency in Linux administration (RHEL CentOS Ubuntu).
- Familiarity with automation tools like Ansible Terraform or Kubernetes.
- Experience in troubleshooting and performance tuning of OpenStack environments.
- Strong scripting skills in Python Bash or PowerShell.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with excellent communication skills.
