The Administrative Payroll Clerk is responsible for preparing semi monthly payroll for the organization and interacting with employees at all levels.
Responsibilities:
As a member of our growing team many of the Payroll Clerk duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Processing payroll for U.S employees on a semi-monthly schedule using Paylocity.
- Collecting and verifying timesheets.
- Calculates retro and any adjustments needed for payroll processing.
- Updating payroll records by entering any changes to employee information or benefits such as salary changes garnishment pay type changes terminations.
- Prepare and submit reports for internal and external payroll audits when necessary.
- Resolving payroll discrepancies and answering any employee payroll inquiries.
- Maintaining all payroll operations according to company policies and procedures.
- Processing and issuing W-2 forms to employees.
- Follow up on daily basis on all outstanding issues.
- Any other payroll duties as required by the business.
Qualifications and Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-4 years experience in payroll department.
- Previous payroll software (Paylocity) experience a plus.
- High degree of accuracy with attention to detail.
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication abilities with aptitude in problem -solving.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
- Strong sense of integrity.
