Job Title: Outside Sales Representative (Stanislaus County)
Job Type: Full-time commission Base $32240.00 - $150000.00 (exempt) position
Reports To: Director of Sales

Job Summary
An Outside Sales Representative is responsible for the sale of Bobcat Compact Equipment for the Stockton location. The successful candidate will be a true hunter responsible for market development and securing sales in the assigned territory. For this position the territory will be Stanislaus County.
Outside Sales Representative Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop revenue generation through the creation of sales leads initiation of prospect calls and the establishment of ongoing rapport with existing and potential customers leading to future sales.
  • Apply knowledge of the industry to identify and pursue sales opportunities.
  • Sell and promote all approved product lines within a designated sales territory.
  • Continually meet or exceed sales quotas and expectations. Drive annual sales growth to meet financial and sales targets.
  • Proactively identify solicit and motivate targeted prospects using a variety of methods such as cold calling lead qualifying presenting proposals and sales funnel management.
  • Supplies management with oral and written reports on customer needs problems interests competitive activities and potential for new products and services.
  • Keeps abreast of product applications technical services market conditions competitive activities advertising and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical service areas.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) equivalent.
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited four-year College or equivalent years of relevant experience.
  • Two plus years of experience in a Sales role for our equipment industry.
  • Effectively work from remote locations.
  • Valid drivers license and clean DMV record.

Outside Sales Representative Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities

  • Bilingual (English & Spanish) a plus.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in an inside/outside sales role.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in collaboration with others in a positive and professional manner with openness to others views in addition to upholding the organizations values.
  • Effective verbal listening and written communication skills.
  • Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions; Works well in group problem solving situations; Uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics.
  • Fanatical about Customer Service understands what it takes to be successful in starting and building customer relationships through obsessive attention to service and parts requirements.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment
The Outside Sales Representative position requires the ability to stand walk and maintain balance for extensive periods of time and the ability to climb into and out of a cab multiple times per shift. The associate must be able to lift 50 lbs. Constantly perform repetitive tasks; stretch turn twist and reach overhead; bend crouch squat kneel and stoop.
Environmental working conditions vary from extremes in temperature and wind as well as exposure to varied weather.
