With facilities located in both Plymouth and Bristol we design and manufacture products for control navigation and guidance for surface and air applications in the global aerospace and defence markets. Our world leading products include the innovative MEMS based IMUs and the digital terrain reference navigation system TERPROM. Our aggressive growth plan includes development and extension of our current technologies into wider markets including civil aircraft applications.
The Technology Development team plays a critical role in the delivery of state of the art MEMS sensors used in these products. This multidisciplinary team is focused on the further development of our world class inertial MEMS technology portfolio and is driving innovation in both sensor design and processing techniques. We are seeking enthusiastic and talented individuals to work within our highly experienced team in this exciting technology area.
Candidates do not require prior experience of working in an R&D environment however experience within an academic or industrial environment will strengthen the application. Applicants should have the aptitude to successfully conduct original and innovative research with the support and guidance from the experienced team they will be part of. The ability to comprehend and assimilate key aspects of the multiple disciplines encompassed within MEMS technology is also critical. The position provides the opportunity to gain valuable experience and expertise at the cutting edge of MEMS inertial sensor development.
