About the Organization

At Ronald McDonald House British Columbia and Yukon we envision a province where families stay close to their sick children. Today 2 out of 3 Canadians live in a city or town without a childrens hospital. Our Mission is to give sick children the healing power of being together with family.

As a champion of family-centered care we enable access to childrens hospitals by providing families with sick children accommodation meals and wellness programs that support their emotional and physical well-being.

In 1983 the first Ronald McDonald House in BC opened its doors in Vancouver with a 13-bedroom House and over the years with an increase in demand for this essential service construction of a new building was 2014 a 73-bedroom House was unveiled on the grounds of BC Childrens Hospital along with a new 2000 sq. ft. RMH Family Room in Surrey Memorial Hospital. As the second-largest House in Canada and one of the largest in the world RMH BC will continue to grow and meet the needs of families across BC and Yukon.

Our team is the backbone of our organizationserving our families supporting volunteers and donors and spreading awareness every single day.


The Digital Platforms & Campaigns Specialistplays a key role in strengthening Ronald McDonald House BC & Yukonsdigital and campaign capacity. This role blends technical execution withcollaboration overseeing websites and fundraising microsites email campaignspaid digital and analytics to ensure our tools and campaigns are optimizedinsightful and impactful. By supporting fundraising and marketing initiativesacross platforms the Specialist helps connect more donors and communities tothe mission of keeping families close.

Key Responsibilities:

Digital Platforms & Campaign Execution

Analytics & Reporting

  • Coordinate with media partners and agencies to deliver assets monitor placements and track results.
  • Support community-facing advertising campaigns and sponsorship activations to maximize visibility.

Collaboration & Team Support

  • Serveas liaison with digital and media agencies ensuring deadlines and deliverablesare met.
  • Workwith the Marketing Manager to integrate family stories and donor content intodigital campaigns.
  • Support events and community fundraising teamsby building and managing event-related digital platforms.

  • Collaborative andmission-driven: You work effectively across teams andwith external partners valuing different perspectives and putting the missionfirst.
  • Proactive andresults-oriented: You take initiativemanage multiple priorities and drive campaigns to completion.
  • Strong communicator: You build clear respectful relationships with agencies vendors andcolleagues and adapt your style to different audiences.
  • Detail-oriented andorganized: You balance technical execution withaccuracy and reliability under tight timelines.
  • Analytical and curious: You translatedata into insights ask the right questions and recommend improvements forfuture campaigns.
  • Technically agile: You are comfortablelearning and adapting to evolving digital platforms and fundraising tools.

Experienceand Educational Requirements

  • 35 years of experience in digital marketing campaign execution or related roles.
  • Experience with paid social campaign development and analytics.
  • Hands-on experience with websites and fundraising platforms (WordPress Raisely Givergy Fundraise Up preferred).
  • Proficiency with email marketing platforms (e.g. Mailchimp Campaign Monitor or equivalent).
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics (GA4) Google Ads Grant and reporting tools (Looker Studio etc.).
  • Familiarity with design and social media management tools (e.g. Canva Sprout Social).
  • Understanding of CASL and digital consent best practices.
  • Post-secondary education in marketing communications or related field or equivalent professional experience.
  • Nonprofit fundraising or campaign experience considered an asset.
