What Youll Do
The Floral Designer is responsible for conceptualizing designing and executing floral arrangements for corporate functions community events and special occasions. This role also oversees the maintenance of indoor plants across the GRHD campus ensuring a professional and welcoming environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and prepare floral arrangements for various purposes including:
- Retail sales in the Grand River Gift Shop
- Centerpieces for in-house events
- Distribution to patients and staff
- Maintain an inventory of floral supplies and materials; order replacements as needed.
- Oversee the care of indoor plants including:
- Developing and executing a watering schedule
- Trimming grooming and replacing plants as required
- Collaborate with internal departments and external community members to fulfill floral and plant needs.
- Ensure all work reflects excellent customer service and professional standards of representation.
- Performs a variety of tasks and other duties as assigned.
Who Were Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 1 year of floral experience or other relevant work experience preferred.
What We Offer
Our total rewards package includes
- Pay Range: $17.50 - $20.00/hour (based on experience)
- Shift Differentials:$2$4/hour for nights and weekends
- PRN Differential: 10% differential in addition to base rate salary

Compensation may vary outside this range depending on a number of factors including a candidates qualifications skills competencies and experience.
