About this role:

Wells Fargo has committed to hire military spouses/domestic partners of actively serving military personnel and is seeking a Systems Operations Associate.

This position is part of the Foundational Hosting Operations (FHO) organization a critical infrastructure team responsible for managing over 100000 server assets including virtual server and storage infrastructure. FHO plays a central role in ensuring the reliability scalability and performance of enterprise hosting environments.

Within FHO the Maintenance and Planning group leads the orchestration of patching and content delivery across the server ecosystem. Its a dynamic and transformative time for the organization as we focus on enhancing operational effectiveness and advancing strategic service management.

The selected candidate will support the Maintenance Planning leadership team in shaping and executing a shared vision of operational excellence and service maturity. This role involves close collaboration with both technical experts and executive leadership translating complex technical and strategic initiatives into clear actionable deliverables.

The Homefront Heroes Hiring (HHH) Program is designed to attract and hire spouses and domestic partners of actively serving military personnel to career opportunities through a military spouse-specific virtual hiring event and onboarding program.

In this role you will:

  • Provide technical systems support for issues and initiatives related to applications systems databases or other technical products and services within Systems Operations business area
  • Review basic or tactical technical issues
  • Evaluate queries to extract Systems Operations data
  • Create standard databases
  • Receive direction from supervisors and exercise judgment within defined parameters while developing understanding of compliance and risk management requirements for supported system area
  • Reporting in data analytics with Tableau reports and power BI
  • Provide technical information of the supported system area to managers functional colleagues and stakeholders including internal customers

Required Qualifications:

  • 6 months of Technology Engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience training military experience education

Desired Qualifications

  • 1 year of experience in patch management systems administration or infrastructure engineering.
  • Strong understanding of operating systems (Windows Linux Unix) and patching tools (e.g. WSUS SCCM BigFix).
  • Experience with vulnerability management and remediation practices.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g. PowerShell Bash Python) for automation and reporting.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities in a cross-functional environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced setting.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA Security Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator or Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE).
  • Experience with enterprise monitoring tools and change management processes (e.g. ITIL).
  • Demonstrated strong organizational skills through successful management of multiple concurrent projects.
  • Ability to produce a copy of military orders including applicant name.

Job Expectations:

  • HHH Program Hires are expected to attend and participate in the Military Spouse Homefront Heroes Orientation and Onboarding Experience.
  • Ability to work on-site at approved location listed
  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship
