Health and Wellness Program Manager - Healthcare Point SolutionsPosition Overview
The Health and Wellness Program Manager will enhance the experience of Shaw associates through Total Rewards. They will work closely with all areas of Total Rewards including but not limited to Compensation Payroll Financial Wellness and the Health and Wellness Benefits teams. Primary responsibilities will include managing high profile projects with the Shaw Family Health Center (SFHC) and ancillary benefits in regard to associate experience at Shaw and aligning with The Shaw Way. This includes benchmarking preparing proposals managing ongoing project tasks implementing approved solutions developing measurements for success and completing follow-up as appropriate. They will work with the Sr. Manager of Health and Wellness to lead the day-to-day management of the Shaw Family Health Centers and programming. The ideal candidate must balance being task-oriented while also thinking strategically. Being organized and paying attention to detail are imperative to the success of this role. They should be a quick learner in order to properly assess situations programs etc. and make the appropriate decisions for next steps/actions. They will need strong financial acumen that considers tangible and intangible cost exploration that improves the quality of Shaws Healthcare options Relationships will play a key role in working with third party vendors HR Operations and our Shaw Associates.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Partner with the Health and Wellness team and Shaw Family Health Center to execute Shaws corporate wellness strategy
Partner with the Total Rewards Project Coordinator on communication needs
Collaborate with Total Rewards partners on associate engagement needs and initiatives (focus groups surveys research etc.);
Work with internal partners to ensure the Health and Wellness section of MyShaw is properly maintained and up to date;
Manage projects related to the growth and expansion for the Shaw Family Health Center (SFHC) and other ancillary projects;
Work with the Sr. Manager of Health and Wellness to determine growth strategy for new services;
Create capital projects to secure funding;
Oversee both the Shaw and vendor-led implementation teams;
Partner with vendor(s) to ensure appropriate metrics are utilized to determine path forward if successful;
Partner with Risk Management and Health Services on Health and Wellness initiatives as needed;
Manage multiple projects concurrently and be capable of initiating implementing and monitoring change; follow-up with project team members to obtain and consolidate project status updates; provide regular project updates as appropriate;
Manage vendor/carrier relationships to ensure satisfactory performance is achieved and performance measures are met and/or exceeded. These relationships include:
Ensure management of associate eligibility and engagement in these benefits and programs;
Conduct regular check-in meetings with vendor team to be certain open items are progressing and completed timely;
Coordinate quarterly mid-year and annual meetings to review plan and vendor performance;
Complete any vendor report cards providing feedback to the vendor team;
Leading implementation efforts for any new vendors or vendor transitions in this space;
Interpret data in order to understand plan/vendor performance make recommendations for plan/benefit changes etc.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
5-7 years work experiencein project/program and/or vendor management
Limited travel necessary (likely two to four times annually)
Self-starter with the ability to operate independently with little supervision
Exhibits proper time management of assignments and responsibilities including being organized and task-oriented
Demonstrated ability to make decisions showing good judgment proclivity to ask for and listen to team feedback and propensity to action
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with an ability to work in a team-oriented environment including coaching and developing others
Effective oral and written communication skills including preparing for and leading team meetings professional and informative responses to customers and vendors
Proficient in Microsoft Office
High level of confidentiality
Prefered:
Four-year degree
LOCATION REQUIREMENTS:
This position is a hybrid role that will require the associate to be in the office (Dalton GA) 2-3 days a week.
Up to 10% travel to Shaw Facilities
