Financial Consultant (Workday)

Make your next step a springboard. PwC is seeking a Financial Consultant to join our Workday Finance Transformation practice. What will you be doing
From day one youll be in direct contact with clients helping them optimize their Workday ERP and transform core finance processes. Youll become the go-to consultant for your workstream advising on Order-to-Cash (O2C) Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Record-to-Report (R2R) ensuring our clients achieve a financial process that is robust scalable and perfectly aligned with their business objectives.
Key responsibilities:
- Support end-to-end Workday Financials implementations and optimizations from discovery and design through configuration testing and go-live.
- Analyze and map client finance processes across Order-to-Cash (O2C) Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Record-to-Report (R2R) to identify improvement opportunities.
- Configure Workday Financials (e.g. business process frameworks financial accounting setup suppliers/customers banking and payments expenses projects) under the guidance of senior consultants.
- Help clients improve financial structures including the chart of accounts organizational hierarchies and reporting dimensions for better control and insight.
- Learn and support group consolidation concepts including intercompany eliminations currency translation and period-end close activities.
- Work directly with client stakeholders (finance accounting procurement IT) to gather requirements run workshops document designs and manage change impacts.
- Support data migration (data cleansing mapping validation) and assist with integrations coordination.
- Build and test financial reports dashboards and controls; help resolve issues during testing and postgo-live hypercare.
Does this describe you
- You have at least a university degree (preference for Business degree);
- Excellent English communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills (Dutch language skills are considered a strong asset)
- Between 0 and 3 years of working experience within the Workday Finance Transformation field;
- Ability and interest in understanding financial transformation / processes (Workday and ERP experience will be considered an asset);
- Previous experience in accounting is an advantage.
- Demonstrated flexibility and ability to adapt through either previous professional or academic experiences;
- Eager to learn about Workday functional roles.
