Community Engagement Manager (Full-Time Exempt Position)
Inner City Law Center (ICLC) is a nonprofit law firm located in the Skid Row neighborhood of Los Angeles. We are looking for extraordinary people to help us end homelessness in Los Angeles. Founded on the fundamental principle that every person should always be treated with dignity and respect ICLC fights for justice for low-income tenants working-poor families people who are disabled or experiencing homelessness people living with HIV/AIDS and homeless veterans. Position Description: The Community Engagement Manager advances the mission of the Inner City Law Center by developing and strengthening relationships with funders local government officials nonprofit partners and other stakeholders to ensure to ensure the excellence and sustainability of ICLCs program services. The Community Engagement Manager will be responsible for meaningful engagement with community-based organizations elected officials and influential community leaders in support of ICLC Homeless Prevention Initiatives. This position is part of the Program Operations Team and reports to the Director of Legal Services. - Serve as a support and accountable point of contact for funders local government officials and nonprofit partners to support in outreach and engagement efforts.
- Monitor program performance client outreach and client recruitment strategies.
- Enhance improve and expand client referral network and strategies through frequent interactions with homeless service providers City and County agencies community-based organizations faith-based institutions and other participants in ICLCs client referral network.
- Coordinate with ICLC Program Staff to organize plan and execute community outreach events that target client recruitment.
- Coordinate with ICLC Program Staff to ensure project is on track to meet requirements for number of clients served.
- Coordinate with ICLCs Communications Manager to oversee media outreach strategies that target client recruitment.
- Identify model client outreach and referral strategies employed throughout the nation.
- Support the creation and implementation of comprehensive community engagement strategies that align with ICLCs programmatic goals including homeless prevention tenant protection and veterans support.
- Design and maintain systems for tracking engagement activities referral sources and community impact; provide regular reports to leadership to inform program decisions.
- Monitor troubleshoot and evaluate effectiveness of client outreach and referral strategies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Ability to cultivate strong relationships with partners. A minimum of three years of experience in a nonprofit role or government fields. Strong research analytical skills and written communication skills. Detail orientated able to assume responsibility quickly and independently in a rapidly growing organization. Must have access to reliable transportation. Compensation: Salary ranges from $68640 - $80000and is commensurate with qualifications and experience. Excellent benefits.
