Job Description
Location: Tuscaloosa
Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic clinic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to helping patients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life through comprehensive therapeutic interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine the needs and capabilities of clients.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at achieving specific patient goals.
- Provide effective occupational therapy interventions to improve patients abilities and independence.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care and progression.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic processes and home exercises to support ongoing improvement.
- Stay current with the latest research and advancements in occupational therapy practices.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Alabama.
- Proven experience in a clinical setting with a diverse patient population.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
