Join the Spend CX team and help shape innovative solutions for BILLs internal customer experience and employee-facing applications. As a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer youll play a pivotal role in building scalable user-centric systems that support BILLs growth blending modern technologies like React and Elixir within a dynamic fintech environment. This is your opportunity to drive impactful change collaborate closely with stakeholders and elevate the experience for those who use BILLs core platforms every day.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement robust full-stack features using React (frontend) and Elixir (backend).
- Collaborate with product managers designers and stakeholders to deliver solutions aligned with user and business needs.
- Own the delivery and quality of mission-critical internal applications ensuring reliability and scalability.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying technical gaps proposing solutions and optimizing existing systems.
- Mentor and support team members through code reviews knowledge sharing and technical guidance.
- Champion best practices in software engineering including testing documentation and maintainability.
- Partner cross-functionally to troubleshoot high-impact issues and proactively prevent recurring problems.
Wed love to chat if you have:
- 5 years of experience building and shipping full-stack applications ideally with React and Elixir (or other functional BE languages like Ruby Rust Erlang etc).
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively in agile development environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and systematic approach to addressing complex technical challenges.
- Commitment to delivering user-friendly solutions that enable business efficiency.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences.

The estimated base salary range for this role is noted below for our office location in Draper UT. Additionally this role is eligible to participate in BILLs bonus and equity plan. Our ranges for each role and job level are based on a variety of factors including candidate experience expertise and geographic location and may vary from the amounts listed above. The role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical dental vision life and disability insurance 401(k) retirement plan flexible spending & health savings account paid holidays paid time off and other company benefits.
