AECOM Mississauga is looking at hiring a Project Manager.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Manages one or more very complex project involving a combination of the following:
- Clients with a national geographic footprint; OR
- Projects involving a full spectrum of services offered by IE; OR
- Other complexities such as projects that involve litigation environmental protection due diligence etc.
- Manages all phases of projects (from beginning to close out).
- Has consenting and regulatory authority for approvals.
The Project Manager manages all assigned projects from planning till close-out through the end to end lifecycle of the individual projects. This is a supervisory role leading the design and construction delivery teams.
Specific to Shell the person would look after KDR / NTI / RUST projects. This specific program focuses on:
- Construction of C-Store QSR buildings Car Wash Forecourt and canopy and general site works.
- Installation of EV and Fuel systems
- Removal of existing fuel tanks and replacement with new tanks
- Works to oil water separators
- Site paving
- Dispenser replacements
- General making good of sites
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in a relevant discipline (civil mechanical electrical construction management etc)
- 4 years of experience in construction project management
- PEng or PMP or MBA
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP designation is a huge asset
- Professional Engineer license or eligibility
- Has experience with downstream sites / fuels scope
- 4 years working as a project manager on multi-disciplinary projects
- Has strong safety and planning skills
- Good understanding of contracts and the commercial management of projects
