Job Summary

VGM Fulfillment is national leader is CPAP machine and resupply order fulfillment. As an employee-owned company every person at VGM has a personal stake in seeing business succeed. We do this by taking responsibility from our customers for the key operations of order fulfillment: picking packing shipping and inventory management. Our network of fulfillment centers is strategically located throughout the United States providing coverage to all 50 states. This role needs to be present onsite at our warehouse location in Phoenix AZ.

Job Purpose Summary:

The inbound supervisor will have leadership and management overreceiving returns replenishment and inventory as well as oversite of warehouse team leads and hourly production or production support team members. It is important for the supervisor to havea general awareness and knowledge of how all incoming freight affectsthe role is accountable to warehouse manager for departmental and shift applicable key performance indicators KPIs.

Functions of the Inbound Supervisor role will include operating a forklift reach truck or electric pallet jack. Operation of this equipment is considered safety-sensitive falls within the parameters of VGM Fulfillments Drug-free Workplace Policy.

Working Location:Phoenix AZ - VGM Warehouse

Work Hours Classification:Full-time 6:30am-3:00pm MondayFriday overtime as needed

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain a thorough understanding of standard operating procedures and answer any complex questions relating to the procedures
Responsible for leading and developing assigned team members inclusive of completing annual reviews weekly timecards and any time off requests
Oversite and execution of daily shift goals and tasks as defined by warehouse manager
Execution of allocating labor for volume as defined by warehouse manager
Enforcement of department related incentive programs as approved by head of operations and head of finance
Accountable to designated production and replenishment established KPIs for designated shift
Lead by example in following safety protocols and encouraging reporting of safety concerns
Conduct regular safety inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards and complete all necessary documentation; ensure the appropriate corrective action is taken
Responsible for implementation of health and safety security and compliance initiatives practices and behaviors and strict adherence to company policies and procedures
Maintain a clean and safety work environment to prevent accidents and injuries
Track all equipment and maintain record of accountability
Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working with others of varying backgrounds
Set a positive example through personal attendance and time management
Be willing and adapt to change to support business objectives
Work cooperatively in a team environment to achieve business goals and growth opportunities

Maintain a clear and organized work environment by ensuring all work areas are kept tidy and free of hazards by regularly cleaning and organizing tools equipment and materials

Key Qualifications:

Ability to delegate follow up and hold themselves and others accountable
Ability to consistently communicate with other VGMF and VGM Group personnel in person and via Microsoft Office 365 products
Ability to enforce internal VGMF policies and VGM Group HR policies
Ability to develop influence and coach direct and indirect reports
Ability to understand and speak to departmental KPIs
Willing to work overtime if needed including a few Saturdays or a couple hours during the week.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand and walk throughout the facility 75% of the workday
Ability to lift push and slide product and equipment typically weight up to 15lbs and some weighting up to 30lbs
Ability to react quickly and move quickly to various locations throughout the building as needed by the operation
At least 50% of daily time dedicated to being on the floor available to direct reports and other personnel
