Overview
Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior AZ Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster to join a team on a remote basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload of complex workers compensation claims in the state of Arizona.
Compensation
- $80000 to $95000 annual base salary (based on experience)

Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of complex AZ workers compensation claims including indemnity/lost time and litigation cases
- Conduct thorough investigations to determine claim validity and accurately assess damages
- Collaborate with legal and medical professionals as well as other stakeholders to ensure effective claims resolution
- Provide exceptional customer service to claimants employers and other involved parties
- Comply with all state regulations and company policies while adhering to best practices in claims management
- Act as a subject matter expert providing guidance and mentorship to junior adjusters as needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster with a focus on AZ claims
- In-depth knowledge of Arizona workers compensation laws and regulations
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills with the ability to manage complex and litigated claims
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Proficiency in claims management software and related tools
- AZ Adjuster license is required
Day-to-day
- Reviewing new claim assignments and establishing appropriate action plans
- Conducting interviews with claimants employers and witnesses
- Evaluating medical and vocational reports to make informed decisions
- Engaging in ongoing communication with all involved parties to provide updates and gather necessary information
- Documenting all activities and decisions in the claims management system
- Participating in regular team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on industry developments and best practices
