Requirements:
Citizenship/Work authorization: U.S. citizen or otherwise authorized to work per DHS/USCIS categories.
Education: Certificate from an accredited Psychiatric Technician program or equivalent (e.g. U.S. military behavioral health tech training) meeting AAPT standards.
Experience: One year within the last two years.
Certifications: BLS per base PWS; no additional certifications specified.
Licensure: Not required.
Representative duties: Assist with treatment and rehabilitation; conduct basic assessments (e.g. mental status exams standardized testing support); patient education; monitor and document progress; group/individual counseling support; suicide/injury precautions; ADL support; vitals; interagency coordination; records maintenance; acute/post-traumatic stress support; other duties as assigned.
