Job Summary
Are you passionate about sales and providing exceptional customer service Were looking for an enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team in Parkgate United Kingdom. As a Sales Assistant youll play a crucial role in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers while contributing to the stores success.
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs
- Provide knowledgeable product information and recommendations to customers
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean organized and well-stocked sales floor
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and targets
- Handle customer inquiries concerns and complaints professionally
- Assist with receiving unpacking and displaying merchandise
- Participate in inventory management and stock control procedures
- Stay updated on product knowledge promotions and store policies
- Contribute to creating an engaging and inviting store atmosphere
Qualifications :
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Enthusiasm for sales and ability to meet targets
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle merchandise
- Basic math skills for processing transactions and handling cash
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain an organized work area
- Computer literacy for operating point-of-sale systems
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Previous retail or customer service experience (preferred but not required)
