We are now looking for a Senior Supply Chain Planner to join our Expedite Operations team at the JCB site in East Midlands Gateway. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional with a background in automotive manufacturing or production line equipment supply chains.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support daily expedite operations ensuring smooth supply chain execution.

• Produce and analyse internal and external reports including client KPIs and operational performance metrics.

• Supervise and guide junior team members fostering a culture of learning and accountability.

• Liaise with third-party suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services.

• Monitor supplier performance and identify areas for improvement.

• Attend client meetings and represent Maersk in cross-functional project teams.

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.

• Support problem-solving initiatives by developing a deep understanding of client operations and supply chain challenges.

Who Were Looking For

• Proven experience in supply chain planning ideally within automotive manufacturing or production line equipment sectors.

• Strong analytical and reporting skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools.

• Experience in supervising or mentoring team members.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• A proactive solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
