Job Summary
As a Senior Estimator youll play a key role in shaping our projects from the very beginning. Youll be responsible for preparing accurate and timely full-cost estimatescovering scope resources equipment and materialsto ensure competitive bids and strong project margins.
In this role youll work on a variety of project types including conceptual design-build P3 lump sum and construction management. Your expertise and attention to detail will directly impact our success: underestimating can create financial risk while overestimating can cost us opportunities.
Qualifications :
What You Bring
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Construction Engineering or a related field
- 10 years of experience with a general contractor in commercial construction estimating
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting specifications blueprints and as-builts
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills for developing accurate material and labour estimates as well as interpreting job-cost reports
- Experience with cost-estimating software to prepare bids and quotes
- AutoCAD experience is considered an asset
