Job Summary
The Information Research East group at the Abbvie supports a variety of data analytics and visualization workloads serving a community of scientists focusing on pharmaceutical R&D. This position offers the opportunity to work in a cross functional team of scientists and IT professionals in building the next generation of informatics platforms and analysis pipelines.
We are seeking an exceptional candidate with a background in programming web development and generative AI. The ideal candidate will excel in delivering adaptable and user-friendly web applications and generative AI solutions that can evolve to meet scientists needs. A continuous drive to improve existing methods and processes is essential.
***This is a hybrid role based in Worcester MA***
Responsibilities
- Completely follow established technical protocols and assess results with supervision. Perform routine tasks competently. Effectively organize work.
- Recognize and report data or technical variances.
- Learn and effectively implement new methods and technologies.
- Consult literature and publicly available information to understand purpose of assignments.
- Produces and maintains required technical documentation associated with work product.
- Understand and adhere to corporate standards regarding applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies including code of conduct safety GxP compliance data security and the software development lifecycle.

Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in computer science Mathematics or a related field
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment and adapt to evolving requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good presentation and documentation skills
- Foundational knowledge of Python programming
- Basic understanding of web application development concepts
- Familiarity with React or other JavaScript frameworks
- Some experience or demonstrated familiarity with Generative AI techniques

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
