Job Summary
Major Accountabilities
- Elaborate/review of indirect tax deliverables (computations and tax returns);
- Review the taxes reconciliation to ensure they are accurately prepared;
- Liaise with external advisors (BPO and auditors);
- Interface with multiple areas to support new businesses in addition to ensuring tax compliance;
- Develop and implement tax strategies/policies to reduce exposures;
- Monitor/analyze the tax legislation related to indirect taxes (ICMS IPI PIS/COFINS withholding tax etc);
- Participate on the tax reform implementation;
Requirements:
- Bachelor in Accounting/Law/Business;
- English is desirable;
- SAP knowledge is desirable;
- 4-6 years of tax experience either in-house or in public accounting firms;
- Strong knowledge in indirect taxes. Direct taxes experience is a plus.
