Join the GE Appliances Cost of Quality (COQ) team and make an impact by turning complex data into meaningful insights that drive improvement across our factories. As an Associate Quality Analyst youll work with quality logistics and concessions data to uncover root causes identify opportunities and help deliver measurable reductions in the Cost of Quality. This is a highly collaborative role where your analytical skills will directly influence strategic projects product performance and customer satisfaction.Advanced Data Analysis & Insight Generation (40%)
Analyze COQ data (service calls product returns concessions) to identify trends root causes and improvement opportunities.
Provide actionable insights into engineering and quality teams for strategic decision-making.
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track COQ ranked opportunities by site and product line (Pareto trend charts heatmaps).
Product Damage Analysis (25%)
Collaborate with distribution teams to develop damage-reduction strategies analyze return data/images to categorize defects create heat maps and quantify impact.
Participate in on-site observations (warehouses factories delivery agents) to identify product damage process gaps and improvement opportunities.
Cross-Site Collaboration (20%)
Partner with GEA and Mabe factories on COQ improvement initiatives to reduce defects and improve processes.
Participate in cross-functional projects to reduce COQ collaborate on scope and benefit quantification.
Concessions Escalation Support (15%)
Partner with GE Appliances and Mabe factories on COQ improvement initiatives to reduce defects and improve processes.

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelors degree in engineering (Industrial/Mechanical) Data Analytics/Science or related field.
Advanced Excel skills; proficiency in data management dashboarding data governance fundamentals.
Ability to build business cases; proficiency with Pareto trend analysis and control charts.
Collaboration skills with manufacturing sites ability to translate data into clear stories and actions for engineers and leaders.
Effective communication (written & verbal); skilled in delivering clear concise presentations; solid organization and prioritization.
Preferred Qualifications:
1-2 years experience in a manufacturing role.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (or equivalent) and familiarity with DMAIC A3 problem-solving methodology.
Exposure to ERP/quality systems (e.g. SAP/Oracle QMS).
Bilingual Spanish/English to collaborate with Mabe factories.
Experience building metrics for COQ by site/product and validating financial impact with Finance.
Travel:
Travel may be required at approximately 10 - 15% of time. Travel will be to domestic sites as needed for projects and audits.
Working Environment:
Position is based at Appliance Park (Louisville KY).
Office environment; occasional time on factory floor.
