Job Summary
Job Title:
Fabric Cutter
A manual fabric Cutter sets up and cuts fabric into parts according to specifications.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Executes job specific cutting requests to ensure timely completion of projects needed to supply necessary materials to interdepartmental staff/peers.
- Positions fabric onto the table and utilize the proper tooling to cut out the required pieces.
- Make sure the fabric is cut to specifications.
- Remove broken or worn cutting blades as needed.
- Replaces and/or request replacement tooling as necessary.
- Organizes cut projects for distribution to sewing machine operators.
- Standing/walking/bending required up to 6 hours per day and lifting up to 50 pounds with assistance.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Minimum six (6) months experience working as a fabric cutter in a production setting.
- Be able to read a tape measure.
- Be able to read/learn a blueprint
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Opportunity for growth.
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

Minimum requirements:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
