Job Summary

TITLE: Mechanical Engineer (US Citizenship REQUIRED)

RATE RANGE:$50/hr - $62/hr W2 (no health benefits while on contract)

DURATION: 12 months or contract to hire

CLEARANCE: No clearance Must be US Citizen

LOCATION: Onsite in Quincy Massachusetts 02169

As a Mechanical Design Engineer youll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for the design and development of advanced autonomous subsea systems and vehicles. We are looking for a dynamic individual to support our mission of delivering cutting edge solutions to our valued customers.

REQUIRED/PREFERRED SKILLS

Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities U.S. citizenship is required.

Mechanical Engineering Design

Proficiency with SolidWorks MCAD and PTC Windchill PDM Software

Engineering background in the Undersea Domain

Knowledge of autonomous/unmanned undersea vehicle (AUV/UUVs) technologies principles theories and concepts

Hands-on experience assembling prototype systems

Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)

Creative thinker ready to design and develop innovative solutions from conception to production

Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others

REQUIRED EDUCATION

Requires a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related Science Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 5 years of job-related experience or a Masters degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.
