Labor and Delivery
The Labor and Delivery Unit (6JPP) is a 15-bed unit with a variety of labor triage and recovery rooms in addition to 2 operating rooms and 1 procedure room. This unit serves patients with low and high-risk pregnancies alike providing care for those with pre-eclampsia preterm labor diabetes cardiovascular disease bleeding concerns and fetal disease among other conditions. Both medicated and unmedicated labor is supported through a variety of techniques with obstetricians certified nurse midwives and family practice physicians performing deliveries.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Percent of Time: 50%
Schedule: 50% Weekend Nights: Friday 2300 - 0730 Saturday 1900 - 0730. Holidays as assigned
Location:John Pappajohn Pavilion (JPP)

Pay Differentials: Shift differentials for evening andnight.
