Job Summary
Pro Rehabis hiring a Rehab Aideto join the team at our Cassia Community Redeemer Health & Rehab in Minneapolis MN! AtRedeemer Health & Rehabyoull be part of a supportive mission-driven team that takes pride in making a difference every day for residents and families alike.
As aRehab Aideyou will support the mobility and mind health initiatives which includes 1:1 exercise/walking programs as well as group activities.
Position Type:Part-Time position working 24 hours a week with a flexible schedule!
Wage Range: $19 - $24 /hour depending on experience
Location:625 W 31st Street Minneapolis MN 55408
Rehab Aide responsibilities:
- Provide services to promote resident-centered functioning mobility and movement.
- Promote resident involvement and active decision-making in program implementation.
- Maintain accurate attendance documentation for all residents for all events and other therapeutic contacts/programs as assigned.
- Utilize program tools including assessments audits educational resources and technology.
- Transporting Patients to and from therapy gym
- Completing basic patient transfers (with training from therapists as needed)
- Assisting with PT sessions (i.e. following patients with a wheelchair while they are ambulating with the PT)
- Assisting with administrative tasks such as: monthly intake in Microsoft Excel organizing/scanning documents verifying insurance coverage communication with patients families
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Ability to work effectively as a team member with a positive and professional attitude.
- Willingness to work independently when given instructions.
- Ability to be creative educational and enthusiastic with strengthening and mobility activities.
- Knowledge of core standards of Rehabilitation Services.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to read and write in English.
- Knowledgeable on computer literacy basic MS Office knowledge.
- Ability to work on a team with multiple stakeholders under the direction of the Rehabilitation Director.
- Must be able to function independently and demonstrate flexibility and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Understand interpret and utilize data to improve resident care.
- Must be 18 years or older.
