Job Summary
Location: Fayette
Position: Occupational Therapist (School Based)
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team in Fayette. This role involves working within a school setting to support students in achieving their educational goals by addressing physical cognitive and sensory challenges. The ideal candidate will be passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and adolescents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students abilities and develop individualized intervention plans.
- Collaborate with educators parents and other professionals to create supportive learning environments.
- Implement therapeutic activities and exercises to improve students functional skills.
- Monitor and document student progress adjusting interventions as necessary.
- Provide training and resources to teachers and staff to support students occupational needs.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience working in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
