The schedule for this opportunity will be first shift Monday through Friday with overtime eligibility.
As a Fleet Mechanic II you can expect to:
- Operate automotive construction and material handling equipment.
- Operate and repair hydraulic systems
- Perform engine electrical and drivability diagnostics/repair.
- Perform DOT and manufacturer recommended servicing and inspections
- Provide clear and accurate information when entering work order data into a fleet maintenance system.
- Be responsible for scheduling and prioritizing work derived from driver reports.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will have:
- At least 3 years of related experience.
- High school diploma or its equivalent.
- Valid drivers license with good driving record.
- Customer focused strong work ethic and positive.
- Be a safety oriented individual.
- CDL B license is required but can be obtained after employment begins and training and reimbursement for both will be provided.
- Candidates must provide truck technician hand tools.
- Diesel vocational/technical school certifications desired.
- This position is contingent upon your ability to pass a preemployment criminal history check and drug screen.
- Ability to obtain DOT Medical Examiner Certificate (MEC) Form MCSA-5876.
