The schedule for this opportunity will be first shift Monday through Friday with overtime eligibility.

As a Fleet Mechanic II you can expect to:

  • Operate automotive construction and material handling equipment.
  • Operate and repair hydraulic systems
  • Perform engine electrical and drivability diagnostics/repair.
  • Perform DOT and manufacturer recommended servicing and inspections
  • Provide clear and accurate information when entering work order data into a fleet maintenance system.
  • Be responsible for scheduling and prioritizing work derived from driver reports.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • At least 3 years of related experience.
  • High school diploma or its equivalent.
  • Valid drivers license with good driving record.
  • Customer focused strong work ethic and positive.
  • Be a safety oriented individual.
  • CDL B license is required but can be obtained after employment begins and training and reimbursement for both will be provided.
  • Candidates must provide truck technician hand tools.
  • Diesel vocational/technical school certifications desired.
  • This position is contingent upon your ability to pass a preemployment criminal history check and drug screen.
  • Ability to obtain DOT Medical Examiner Certificate (MEC) Form MCSA-5876.
