Chelmsford Public Schools - Announcement of Vacancy for the 2025- 2026 School YearThe Chelmsford Public Schools is now accepting applications for the following anticipated vacancy. The District reserves the right to change this vacancy or not fill this vacancy based on further staffing changes enrollment or : Long Term Substitute Elementary Special Education TeacherLocation: Byam Elementary SchoolAssignment Dates: 11/19/25- 01/05/26 (Dates are subject to change)General Description: The successful candidate will assume the role and responsibilities of a Elementary Special Education Teacher for a long term substitute elementary school teacher from 11/19/25- 01/05/26. Dates subject to change. Responsibilities include: Coordinate efforts with specialists assigned to provide specific services. Confer with parents to promote better understanding of the pupil and his/her environment. Assist and guide ancillary personnel. Attend meetings and prepare and maintain all related records and reports reflecting activities as required or directed. The successful candidate would be teaching in a self-contained classroom servicing students with Autism Spectrum Disorders. Elementary special education license required.
