In this role you wont just be reviewing contentyoull be a frontline hero responsible for protecting a massive online community from harmful and inappropriate material. As a key member of our team you will ensure that our platform remains a positive and secure space for users of all ages.
A Day in the Life: Your Core Responsibilities
Your primary task will be to review and analyze user-generated content from the German-speaking market. This includes videos images comments and other media. Youll work tirelessly to ensure that all content adheres to our strict community guidelines and policies.
- Content Evaluation: Youll make quick and accurate decisions on whether content should be removed restricted or approved based on a clear set of policies. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to apply complex guidelines to real-world situations.
- Policy Enforcement: You will be the guardian of our platforms rules ensuring that every user has a positive and safe experience. This involves handling a high volume of content daily with efficiency and consistency.
- Trend Identification: As you work you will identify emerging trends in content and behavior that violate our policies. Your insights are crucialyou will escalate these findings to management to help us stay ahead of new threats and improve our moderation tools.
- Team Collaboration: You will collaborate with a diverse team of moderators and quality assurance specialists from around the globe. This collaborative environment ensures consistency in our moderation practices and fosters a supportive and engaging workplace.
Who Were Looking For
We are searching for someone with a strong sense of responsibility and a commitment to protecting online communities. While we value prior experience in content moderation or a similar field it is not essential. We believe that with the right attitude and language skills you can thrive in this role.
Key Requirements:
- Exceptional German: You must have a strong command of the German language (B2/C1 or higher). This is critical for understanding the cultural context and nuances of the content youll be reviewing.
- Proficient English: A solid understanding of English (B2 or higher) is a must as it is our companys primary communication language.
- Resilience and Professionalism: You must be able to handle exposure to sensitive graphic and potentially disturbing content while maintaining a professional and composed demeanor.
- Strong Decision-Making: The ability to think critically and make fast accurate judgments under pressure is essential.
- Adaptability: You should be comfortable with a fast-paced environment and be open to working various shifts as our moderation services run 24/7.
