As a Payroll Analyst you will interact with other Stryker employees ensuring exceptional service and timely and accurate responses to all inquiries.

As a Payroll Analyst you will be required to occasionally come into the Kalamazoo office. Ideally you will spend one to two days of your choosing each week onsite.
Additional responsibilities:
- Execute daily payroll operations including defensive data queries payroll setup maintenance (earnings/deductions codes tax mapping garnishment vendors SUI rates GL costing) time transaction review payroll processing auditing error correction and distribution.
- Review analyze reconcile and interpret payroll data related to taxation garnishments and regulatory compliance for multi-state payrolls; validate interfaces with ADP and third-party systems.
- Provide responsive high-quality customer service to employees and managers regarding payroll inquiries via phone and online channels.
- Investigate and resolve escalated payroll issues submitted through the myHR portal by identifying root causes and delivering timely resolutions.
- Partner with HR business teams and Centers of Excellence (COEs) to resolve complex payroll issues and ensure accurate employee payments.
- Collaborate with divisional finance teams to resolve reconciliation discrepancies and drive process improvements and operational efficiencies.
- Conduct quality assurance reviews of electronic and manual payroll transactions in a fast-paced environment.
- Perform regression and functional testing of system changes to ensure accuracy and integrity of payroll system updates and enhancements.
What You Need
Required qualifications
- Bachelors degree
- 1 years of work experience in payroll
Preferred qualifications
- Previous business-facing HR HR COE HR Operations or role related experience
- Experience supporting Americas payroll regulations (U.S. and Canada)
- 1 years of federal state and local tax reporting experience
- Demonstrated expertise in HRIS and payroll systems; preferred experience with ADP systems and Workday Payroll
- Experience using MS Office specifically advanced MS Excel and analytical skills
- Typing proficiency and experience using a case management system such as ServiceNow
