Job Summary
Requirements:
This position includes flexible shift work that rotates based on customer needs offering exposure to a range of schedules including
1st 2nd 3rd and Panama shifts.
This contract supports systems that require 24x7x365 uptime including participation in a rotational on-call schedule.
Active Secret Clearance required.
Due to contract parameters U.S. Citizenship without dual citizenship is required.
7 years of experience as an MQ Administrator. Related experience in middleware administration may be considered.
WebSphere WebLogic Kafka RabbitMQ TIBCO or similar.
Experience managing enterprise middleware platforms with proven ability to transfer and apply these skills to IBM MQ.
Experience with WebSphere Application Server or equivalent enterprise integration platforms.
Strong troubleshooting documentation and communication skills.
Willingness to adapt to evolving mission requirements and perform additional assigned tasks.
Responsibilities:
Regularly monitor MQ systems for uptime performance and potential issues; ensure smooth operation of queues channels and related MQ objects.
Manage access implement security protocols and ensure that all transmissions meet strict security standards.
Provide first-line troubleshooting for MQ-related issues coordinate with cross-functional support teams and respond promptly to alerts.
Apply updates patches and configuration changes to maintain a stable and secure MQ environment.
Support backup and recovery procedures participate in disaster recovery drills and ensure recovery documentation is accurate and current.
Maintain detailed records of MQ configurations permissions and troubleshooting efforts in compliance with IT and federal policies.
Track usage monitor system capacity and recommend adjustments to meet operational needs.
