Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiologic Technologist to join the specialized imaging team at a premier academic medical center. The ideal candidate will possess extensive technical expertise in interventional procedures and thrive in a dynamic fast-paced clinical environment.

  • Work Schedule:
    • Full-time position
    • Days
    • 40 hours per week
    • Specific days/hours to be determined
    • Will be required to work weekends and holidays on a rotational basis.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Associates or Bachelors degree in Radiologic Technology Radiology or related field.
  • Licensure/Certification: New York State License Registration or Eligible; Current CPR certification; Registration certification for Contrast Injection required. ARRT certification must be obtained within one year of appointment.
  • Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of progressive technical experience.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in interventional radiology equipment operation and imaging procedures.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication abilities attention to detail and ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform complex interventional radiology procedures under physician direction
  • Operate and maintain specialized interventional imaging equipment
  • Prepare and administer contrast media according to established protocols
  • Monitor patient vital signs and status during procedures
  • Maintain sterile field and assist with invasive procedures
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
