Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physical Therapist (PT RPT) to join our team in a school-based setting in Pell City. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of students by helping them achieve their physical potential and enhance their educational experience.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students to assess their physical capacities and limitations within the educational environment.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to the needs of each student.
- Collaborate closely with teachers parents and other educational staff to integrate therapeutic strategies into the students daily routines.
- Monitor and document student progress adjusting therapy plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Provide training and resources to school staff and families to support the students physical development.
- Stay current with best practices in pediatric physical therapy and apply them to enhance service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT RPT) in the state of Alabama.
- Experience in pediatric or school-based settings is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Location: Pell City
