Testing Assistant

FLSA Classification

Part-time (15 hours a week) Non-exempt

Reports to

Coordinator of Access Services

Job Description

Summary/objective

Assist with testing and general administrative task.

Essential functions

  • Contact professors for tests and answer questions
  • Prepare daily testing documents.
  • Act as a scribe for students who have disabilities during testing and/or in the classroom when needed.
  • Access testing platform for data collection
  • Perform general administrative tasks

Competencies

  • Must be able to type at least 45 words per minute
  • Must be proficient in using computers
  • Must be able to read at the college level
  • Must be kind and patient when working with students

Position typically works in an office environment.

  • High school graduate and has worked in public facing positions.
