In collaboration with the Department Director and Medical Director the Senior. Clinical Support Scientist serves as the clinical staff scientist team lead oversees the MR quality assurance and accreditation programs advises on the MR safety program continuously reviews and seeks opportunities for improving MR image quality assists new equipment purchase and installation educates fellows and MRI technologists. The Senior Clinical Support Scientist conducts innovative research to develop cutting-edge techniques to improve the diagnostic value of MRI technology and patient care at the institution assists internal and external MRI investigators and collaborates with manufacturers internal/external MRI investigators to improve MRI techniques writes and assists grant applications represents the institution in the MRI scientific community and mentors junior researchers.
Minimum Requirements:
Successful completion of Post-Doctoral fellowship
PhD degree in Electrical Engineering or medical physics or neuropsychology; . or M.D.
3-4 years training experience
