The Nurse Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all aspects of patient care related to the bone marrow transplant patients in collaboration with the transplanting physician and the bone marrow transplant interdisciplinary team. Establishes professional and working rapport with patients families referring physicians and support to the operation. Oversees the maintenance of complete and accurate patient records/data and completes patient reports to the Bone Marrow Transplant Registry.
This role is full-time 40 hours weekly; 8 am to 4:30 pm. A minimum of 2 years RN work experience is required. BSN is strongly preferred.
Chemotherapy and Biotherapy certification courses are required within 3 months of employment. Chemotherapy certification required after completion of required courses.
