DescriptionThe Role
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Account Executive - Natural Resources to serve as the primary administrator for our Engineering Team. This role combines client management with internal coordination to ensure seamless delivery of engineering projects within the natural resources sector. The ideal candidate will have effective communication skills industry knowledge and experience in supporting technical teams. As part of the team you will:
- Act as the main point of contact between clients and the engineering team managing client relationships with professionalism and responsiveness.
- Coordinate and support project delivery from inception through completion ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
- Prepare and manage project documentation contracts and correspondence related to natural resources projects.
- Facilitate communication within the engineering team scheduling meetings tracking project progress and distributing relevant information.
- Assist in preparing proposals bids and reports tailored to client needs and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate records of client accounts project milestones and financial transactions.
- Support the engineering team with administrative tasks including data entry resource allocation and invoicing.
- Liaise with other departments such as finance procurement and legal to support project execution.
- Monitor industry trends in natural resources to provide insights and contribute to business development efforts.
- Ensure compliance with company policies health and safety regulations and environmental standards relevant to natural resources projects.
QualificationsThe Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Engineering Environmental Science or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in an account management or administrative role within the natural resources or engineering sector.
- Proficiency in programming with Python is highly desirable with the ability to develop maintain and optimise analytical tools and models.
- Experience or aptitude for developing a Value Chain Engineering (VCE) model to support engineering analyses and decision-making processes within the natural resources sector.
- Effective understanding of natural resources industries (mining oil & gas forestry etc.) and associated engineering processes.
- Excellent communication organisational and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook) and project management software.
- Experience with CRM systems and financial tracking tools is advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Effective problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and client needs.
