This is a full-time in-office opportunity for a seasoned Corporate Paralegal to join a dynamic healthcare practice group. The role involves playing a key role in the execution of complex healthcare-related corporate matters. The successful candidate will be a vital resource for the legal team focusing on the preparation review and filing of critical legal documents for corporate transactions and regulatory compliance.
Daily responsibilities will include assisting with healthcare mergers and acquisitions joint ventures and corporate restructurings ensuring all matters align with healthcare regulations. You will conduct comprehensive due diligence scrutinizing business licenses Medicare/Medicaid enrollment and compliance with federal and state healthcare laws such as the Stark Law and Anti-Kickback Statute. The position also requires assisting with the formation of healthcare entities managing state licensing and regulatory filings with agencies like the Department of Health and CMS and maintaining corporate records and governance documents. Furthermore you will prepare and review a variety of healthcare-related contracts manage data rooms and conduct detailed legal research to support the team.
