The Opportunity

This is an exciting senior-level role for an ambitious Private Client Solicitor with 4 years PQE ready to manage complex estate administration and succession planning matters. Youll work within a dynamic supportive team on intellectually stimulating cases whilst receiving mentorship from experienced partners.
The Private Client department is experiencing significant growth and this role offers genuine progression opportunities within a firm that invests in its people.

Key Responsibilities

Client Management & Legal Excellence:
Provide high-quality proactive legal advice to private clients on estate administration succession planning and trusts
Manage a complex caseload of estate administration matters with appropriate supervision Build and maintain strong client relationships delivering exceptional service
Draft Wills trusts Lasting Powers of Attorney and estate documentation to the highest standards
Technical & Case Management:
Handle complex estate administration from start to completion
Advise on succession planning inheritance tax planning and trust matters
Manage files efficiently preparing reports and documentation for clients
Undertake relevant searches and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
Business Development:
Achieve personal fee targets and contribute to team success
Support business development initiatives and help grow the Private Client department
Enhance the firms reputation through professional and community activities

Essential Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:
Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales with 4 years PQE in Private Client law
Demonstrated success in handling complex private client cases with proven track record
Law degree and LPC completion with two-year training contract (or GDL conversion LPC and training contract)
Alternatively relevant CILEX qualification with equivalent experience
Technical Skills:
Strong expertise in estate administration succession planning and trusts
Excellent knowledge of Inheritance Tax Capital Gains Tax and private client legislation
Proficiency with case management systems and legal technology
Outstanding drafting skills for complex private client documentation
Personal Attributes:
Exceptional client care skills with ability to explain complex matters clearly
Strong organisational and time management abilities
Commercial awareness and business development mindset
Collaborative team player with supportive approach
