Job Description
Now Hiring: Lead Assembler
Location: Maple Grove MN
Pay: $21.51 per hour with the potential to increase to $22.00 per hour within 3 months of hire.
Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:00pm
Employment Type: Full time temp to hire
About this Opportunity:
The Lead Assembler helps to ensure assemblers on the shift perform their tasks to produce quality parts in an efficient and safe manner.
What Youll Be Doing:
Coordinate and advise Assemblers in the performance of their duties.
Assist with morning start-ups for all assemblers.
Have thorough knowledge of all assembly lines and procedures.
Assist in training Assemblers and temporary employees.
Conduct inventory counts and label packaging.
Monitor all assigned assembly lines for efficient production of quality parts twice each hour.
Monitor all assigned assembly line bids once each hour.
Complete inventory documentation throughout the assembly task.
Direct Second Operations employees in maintaining clean efficient organized work areas per Ss and
Lean Manufacturing standards.
Attend weekly Lead Assembler meetings.
What makes you a great fit:
Knowledge of all aspects of the assembly process and experience with assembly in a manufacturing environment.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to solve problems make decisions and delegate assignments appropriately.
Ability to communicate English both verbally and in writing.
Have an aptitude for basic math.
Have excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
