Job Summary:

Catawba Two Kings Casino is hiring a Count Room Team Supervisor! The Count Room Team Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the count room ensuring the accurate and efficient collection counting and reconciliation of all gaming and non-gaming revenues. This role requires a high level of integrity attention to detail and strict adherence to internal controls gaming regulations and company policies. The supervisor manages count room staff maintains operational security and ensures all currency handling is performed in accordance with regulatory and audit requirements.

Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Catawba Gaming License.
  • Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.

Knowledge Skills & Abilities:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1 year gaming experience in count room (required).
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Ability to add subtract multiply and divide all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and to compute rate ratio percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Must have the ability to read analyze and interpret general business periodicals professional journals technical procedures or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports business correspondence and procedure manuals.
  • Must have the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers clients customers and the general public.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a state gaming license.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to work an alternate schedule as needed.
  • Ability to work in a loud fast-paced environment (may occasionally be exposed to second-hand cigarette smoke).

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this position the employee is regularly required to reach with hands and arms; bend to open/use lower drawers or cabinetry; to talk hear and see. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; climb or balance; stoop kneel crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
