Position Summary:
The Department of Mathematics & Statistics of the University of South Florida seeks to fill a 12-month full-time Postdoctoral Scholar position to begin August 7 2026. This position carries a teaching load of three courses per year.

Minimum Qualifications: Doctoral degree from an accredited institution in Mathematics or closely related field is required. The degree must be conferred by the appointment start date. Applicants must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Postdoctoral Scholar.
Preferred Qualifications: Preference will be given to candidates who have received their Ph.D. within the last three years and whose research interests are in algebraic coding theory quantum error-correction quantum computing or a related area.
