Job Summary
Retail Yard Load Puller
Location: General Location
Type: Full-Time
Reports To: Store Manager
Were looking for a Retail Yard Load Puller to help ensure our yard operations run smoothly while delivering outstanding customer service. Youll assist customers with their orders load and unload materials and help maintain a safe organized and efficient yard environment.
What Youll Do
- Greet customers warmly when they enter the yard and respond to phone inquiries.
- Assist customers by locating pulling and loading orders accurately and efficiently.
- Operate a forklift safely (training provided) to load and unload trucks.
- Support truck drivers in loading merchandise and unloading returns ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Provide customers with information on related products pricing and promotions.
- Maintain a clean organized and safe yard environment at all times.
- Stay knowledgeable about products their uses pricing and new inventory.
- Assist supervisors and team members in other work areas as needed.
- Participate in company-sponsored training programs to enhance product knowledge and skills.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
